Amoris Laetitia: A reflections on our families
As the fifth anniversary of his apostolic exhortation "Amoris Laetitia" approaches, Pope Francis announced that the Catholic Church will dedicate more than a year to focusing on the family and conjugal love. Amoris Laetitia was  the apostolic exhortation Pope Francis offered at the close of the Synod on the Family. A synod is the Church listening to herself think. The pope commemorated the feast of the Holy Family and said that it served as a reminder "of the example of evangelizing with the family" as highlighted in Amoris Laetitia. In our Catholic tradition a number of titles have been accorded St. Joseph. He is patron of workers, patron of families, patron of the dying, and patron of the Universal Church. Our diocese will talk about marriage, families and challenges during the Year of St. Joseph seeking the intercession of the, patron of our families.  Read more
