Amoris Laetitia: A reflections on our families
As the fifth anniversary of his apostolic exhortation "Amoris Laetitia" approaches, Pope Francis announced that the Catholic Church will dedicate more than a year to focusing on the family and conjugal love. Amoris Laetitia was the apostolic exhortation Pope Francis offered at the close of the Synod on the Family. A synod is the Church listening to herself think. The pope commemorated the feast of the Holy Family and said that it served as a reminder "of the example of evangelizing with the family" as highlighted in Amoris Laetitia. In our Catholic tradition a number of titles have been accorded St. Joseph. He is patron of workers, patron of families, patron of the dying, and patron of the Universal Church.
