Bishop Weisenburger enjoyed a visit to Yuma this week to celebrate six different Confirmation Masses at St. John Neumann Parish, St. Francis of Assisi School and Parish, Immaculate Conception School and Parish, and Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish.
On Sunday, February 20th, Bishop Weisenburger also celebrated the combined Rite of Election and Call to Continuing Conversation for 11 Catechumens and 49 Candidates for Full Communion from five Yuma-La Paz Vicariate Parishes. He will celebrate these rites in Tucson on March 6th. Stay tuned for the pictures and numbers from Tucson. We rejoice with these newcomers to our Catholic communities throughout the Diocese of Tucson. They will receive their sacrament and be welcomed into the Church at the Easter Vigil in their parishes.
