Oct. 15 -- Twenty-eighth Sunday in Ordinary Time (Mt 22:1-14)
Jesus tells a parable about a king inviting people to his son’s wedding banquet. The invited guests refuse the invitation and reject the king’s messengers, so the king invites people from the streets, both good and bad. This story tells us many things about God and about ourselves. Jesus once again reminds us of a crucial thing about the kingdom of God: all are generously invited.
