Padre Eusebio Francesco Kino was a pioneer-explorer, historiographer, cartographer, cowboy, rancher, and peacemaker. Known as the Padre on Horseback, he was a bridge builder between nations and the first Catholic missionary to minister in the modern borderlands of Sonora and Arizona.
