The Knights of Columbus Msgr. James T. Weber assembly will host its 18th annual fundraiser dinner to benefit hospitalized veterans after having to cancel 2020 due to COVID.
The dinner will be at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 300 N Tanque Verde Loop Road on Saturday November 6, 2021. The purpose of this dinner is to raise funds to meet the personal item needs of veterans hospitalized at the Tucson VA hospital. The dinner is open to everyone.
The featured speaker will be Nikki Lee. Ms. Lee is a United States Airforce Veteran, wife and mother of three. She and her husband served at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base where they met and fell in love with each other and the City of Tucson. While serving Ms. Lee combined her passion for technology and parlayed that experience with a career in cybersecurity. Ms. Lee continues to serve through community involvement and is an advocate for the veterans.
There will be displays of memorabilia and the Knights will demonstrate the beautiful flag-folding ceremony and the deeply moving POW/MIA memorial ceremony. If you have memorabilia you would like to display, please contact Chris Rod at 520-403-3308.
Tickets are $30 per person. You can request tickets from Pete Karculias, 520-975-7362. You can also order reservations on our web site at
www.weberassembly.com. Deadline is October 30, 2021.
All proceeds are donated to the Southern Arizona VA Hospital for the personal needs of hospitalized veterans.
