This year’s Rosary celebration guest speaker is Father Zachary of the Mother of God. Fr. Zachary is a priest of the Society of the Mother of God (SOLT) and serves as the Formation Director for the American Region of SOLT.
The 2024 Arizona Rosary Celebration will begin in Tucson on Friday evening, October 25th with a Holy Hour at Immaculate Heart Academy located at 425 E Magee Rd., Tucson.
The 2024 Arizona Rosary Celebration will honor our Blessed Mother under her title of Our Lady Queen of Peace. This title of our Blessed Mother dates back to the 15th century and has continued to be a source of prayer and pleading for peace. Especially in times of war and struggle, the leaders of the Church call upon Mary to intercede for us. The images of Our Lady Queen of Peace vary throughout the world, but are always seen with her holding an olive branch and the child Jesus, the Prince of peace. As we honor her this year, let us continue to pray for peace in all the areas of our lives, the life of the Church and the world that are in need.
We look forward to the Blessing Procession with groups from all the parishes led by the Silver Rose and the presence of the parish Altar Servers and family representatives. The prayer intentions from the parishes will be placed before the image of Mary and then sent to the Santa Rita Abbey in Sonoita. The Sisters will be praying these intentions for the full year until the next celebration.
