14th Annual Community Hymn Festival

For many years, the local Christian Churches in Sierra Vista have partnered to hold a Community Hymn Festival. This year, it includes performances by our Hymn Fest choir and a local community choir.  Our local pastors will lead one Hymn and one of our dynamic Baptist pastors will lead the congregation in a contemporary gospel piece.

In addition, the congregation will join in singing many beloved traditional and contemporary hymns from many different Christian churches. The event will also feature the refurbished St. Andrew's pipe organ and many local musicians and singers.

The event is free. Each year, a local charity is chosen to receive the freewill offering. This year, the offering will go to the Community Food Bank, which is managed by the local St. Vincent de Paul conference.

This event is directed by Reynaldo Romo, music director at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church. Lars Andersen from Tanque Verde Lutheran Church in Tucson will be on the pipe organ, and Billie Hayes from Sierra Evangelical Lutheran Church will be on the piano.
