Santa Cruz Parish Benefit Concert

In honor of five Discalced Carmelite martyrs who served in Santa Cruz Parish and Southern Arizona, the Carmelite Shrine Committee of Santa Cruz Parish is working to make Santa Cruz Parish a destination shrine.

In August of last year, a group of parishioners met to begin to form a committee to establish a shrine to honor the Five Discalced Carmelite Martyrs who at one time served at Santa Cruz Parish. The blood of the martyrs is the seed of faith. Through their ministry here and in other parts of the world, they planted and nurtured the seed of faith and brought us to know and love God. As they lived and died for their faith, we are called to live and put into practice what we believe by God's grace.



En honor a Cinco Mártires Carmelitas Descalzos que sirvieron en la Parroquia de Santa Cruz y el sur de Arizona, el Comité del Santuario Carmelita de la Parroquia de Santa Cruz está trabajando para hacer de la Parroquia de Santa Cruz un santuario de destino.

En agosto del año pasado, un grupo de feligreses se reunió para comenzar a formar un comité para establecer un santuario en honor a los Cinco Mártires Carmelitas Descalzos que en un momento sirvieron en la Parroquia de Santa Cruz. La sangre de los Mártires es la semilla de la fe. A través de su ministerio aquí y en otras partes del mundo, plantaron y alimentaron la semilla de la fe y nos llevaron a conocer y amar a Dios. Así como ellos vivieron y murieron por su fe, nosotros estamos llamados a vivir y poner en práctica lo que creemos por la gracia de Dios.
