Thursday, June 23, 2022Location: St. John Neumann Parish, Yuma AZ2022 Men and Women’s Cursillos weekends have been scheduled for June 16-19, and June 23-26, respectively, at St. John Neumann Parish in Yuma, Az.
Cursillo is about supporting Catholics in their walk with Jesus Christ. It is about building a solid, loving, informed understanding of God's call and putting our lives into action.
The weekend focuses on the three main facets of living as a Catholic - piety, study, and action and helps you have a solid foundation going forward using weekly small group meetings to support each other on our faith journey.
To attend the 3-Day Cursillo Weekend, a Cursillista who has already lived the 3-Day Cursillo Weekend must sponsor you and help you prepare for the 3-Day Cursillo Weekend. The sponsor will help you continue in the Cursillo method after the 3-Day Cursillo Weekend and continue to encourage you on your journey.
The weekend is open to all parishioners 18 yrs of age or older in the Diocese of Tucson. There is a suggested donation of $75. To obtain an application please call or text 928-581-0543 or email td11668@gmail.com
Sponsorship Meetings will be held at St Francis Catholic School on May 19, Room 6 at @ 6:30 pm, Immaculate Conception Catholic School on May 17, Room 8 @ 6:30 pm, and St John Neumann, DTB determined.
If you are thinking of sponsoring someone, you are committing yourself to the preparation of that person for the Cursillo Weekend and ongoing assistance to that person in the Post Cursillo. At these orientation meetings, sponsors can pick up an application for family or friends.
