Hundreds of people from different walks of life attended the 49th March for Life in Tucson on Saturday, January 22, 2022. This peaceful demonstration brought attention to the reality of abortion: that over 62 million children have been killed in the United States since Roe v. Wade in 1973. Participants called for changes of heart and law, prayed for all those impacted by abortion, and spoke up on behalf of both new parents in need and the 62 million voices that have been silenced by abortion.
At Holy Hope Cemetery, the Rose Ceremony included red roses offered by men, women, and children born in every year since Roe v. Wade, in honor of the millions of our peers killed by abortion each year. The final white rose was offered by a pregnant woman, whose living child will be born in 2022. The white rose symbolizes hope that this was the last year the March for Life will be needed to defend the lives of pre-born children.
