For many years not so long ago, Catholics in Sonoita, Arizona, did not have a church to gather in. They met in various buildings across town until they decided they needed a church of their own. The Catholic people of Sonoita gathered together to raise enough money to fund this project. They saw a need in their community and stepped up to address it.
Today, parishioners gather together at Our Lady of the Angels Mission Church, a delightfully colorful and bright place of worship.
Locals still enjoy the main source of their fundraising: Angel Wings Thrift and Gift Shop, located just up the hill from the church in Sonoita. Angel Wings features high-quality new and vintage items at bargain prices. Because they have been so successful, Angel Wings is now able to give back to the community by supporting other local charities.
