The Arizona Knights of Columbus has qualified for the Supreme Knight’s Circle of Honor Award for the 2023-2024 Fraternal Year. The winners will be acknowledged at the Supreme Convention occurring in Quebec City, Quebec, Canada on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.
Based on the goals set by the Knights of Columbus Supreme Council, Arizona achieved 115% of the membership quota along with 193% of the goal for Star Councils.
In order for an individual council to achieve Star Council, they must have attained their membership goal, performed programs in the areas of Faith, Community, Life, and Family, participated in insurance benefits events, and ensured safe compliance training. Forty-two councils achieved this goal this year! In addition, 8 districts in Arizona achieved Star District.
Tom Kato, the Arizona State Deputy for the fraternal year, said, “I would like to congratulate all the members and councils of the Arizona Knights of Columbus for Arizona reaching Circle of Honor! This was a great achievement, and your members deserve all the credit for asking men to join us along with all the programs that you performed for your parish and community.
“For the past five years, Arizona has achieved at least Circle of Honor with two of those years achieving one step higher of Pinnacle Award.
“You have truly lived the state theme for last year of ‘Faith over Culture’!”
