OnTuesday, November 1, Bishop Edward Weisenburger celebrated All Saints Day Mass at Holy Hope Catholic Cemetery with over 250 people in attendance.
In his homily, Bishop Weisenburger shared, "Catholicism is a way of seeing. The Saints are those who saw differently then acted upon what they saw. They are the women and men who see with the eyes of Christ. Seeing with the eyes of Christ is what makes Saints. Spiritual Sight does not come easily in a world devoted to maintaining our blindness. But we can find a cure for that blindness in prayer, good works, the reading of Scripture, and rubbing elbows with the saints in our midst. Let us open our eyes to look around us and we might just discover that we are indeed in the communion of saints."
