At this event, both men will discuss why they are offering the tuition scholarships and about their commitment to the success of the CatholicU and the community. Jim Click, Jr., President, Jim Click Automotive Team wanted to get involved with the University, he states, “When I heard about this innovative Catholic University program, with its desire to form deep partnerships with local Tucson employers while providing a quality education at a fraction of the cost, I just had to collaborate and bring others to be involved.”
Catholic University is the national university of the Catholic Church in America, a world class university. Students can receive a top tier Catholic education, earning their business degree right here in Tucson. CatholicU students will have the opportunity to engage with a number of Tucson’s most successful business leaders. This is a huge advantage if you plan to also pursue your career in Tucson. Humberto S. Lopez, Founder and Chairman, HSL Properties said, “I got involved because it’s a pilot program that has never existed anywhere else. Bringing online concepts to study at your own pace, and to deliver to students who wouldn’t have been able to, with a prestigious university.”
A four-year bachelor’s degree in Business from CatholicU, costing upwards of $200K elsewhere, can be earned for a total cost of less than $37K. With additional generous scholarships available and PELL grants, students could actually pay zero for their first year of college.
