Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
I am Fr. Ariel the pastor of St. Anthony of Padua, Casa Grande, Arizona and I am infected with the virus. Today is my 2nd day of isolation. And, I remain asymptomatic and feel good. I always believed that I was healthy.
Part of my daily regimen is one of the following: hiking, cycling, running or hitting the gym. I don't drink, I don't smoke and I eat healthy. I wear face mask and conscientiously observe physical distancing and wash my hands. But why did I get sick? Because the virus doesn't discriminate. Healthy or not, young or old, could be a victim.
We are susceptible! Anybody can get infected…it's just a matter of time unless, we flee to Mars! What is my point? A healthy person can be a carrier! And the question we must ask ourselves is, "Am I a host?" There is no telling, right? Especially if you are asymptomatic or skeptic. And the only way to find out is to check with your doctor if you think you should be tested. This is not the time to presume we are ok. If you think you might be infected, please isolate yourself for at least two weeks.

I'm sure getting a Covid-19 test if you think you may have been exposed is a no brainer. Many testing labs don't charge but even if we had to pay we could sleep peacefully at night knowing that we did the right thing.
Fraternally,
REV. ARIEL G. LUSTAN
