Over 35 years ago, Father Greg Boyle started Homeboy Industries to step into the margins and walk side-by-side with gang members of Los Angeles.

Stand in awe of what the poor have to carry, rather than standing in judgment. The goal is to create kinship, community of cherished belonging, where people don't run out of relationships."
