St. Augustine graduation August 1
On August 1 St. Augustine Catholic High School celebrated its 14th graduating class. Although we were unable to commemorate our graduates in a way fitting to their accomplishments, the graduates and their family made the most of our "Drive-By" ceremony. The faculty and staff wish them the best, and pray that they are continued to be blessed throughout their lives.
San Miguel graduation
Attendees at the drive-in ceremony held at El Toro Flicks, watched pre-recorded addresses from President and CEO, Dave Mason, Principal, Michael Richards, Salutatorian, Nam Do and Valedictorian, Pam Gonzalez as well as a narrated montage of tributes to every senior. Speakers commended graduates on their kindness and ability to navigate the end of their senior year remotely. “The Class of 2020 has a lot to be proud of,” said David Mason.
“During their time at San Miguel, these graduates have overcome significant socioeconomic hurdles, taken on college prep academics, held corporate work study positions and transitioned to remote learning,”
said Mason.
