Radical Hospitality: Crisis pregnancy and serving moms

This session provides practical pastoral guidance for accompanying women who are in crisis pregnancy, for whatever reason. In particular, Ms. Hunsberger explores the concept of radical hospitality as a mode of communication that emphasizes compassion and non-judgmentalism when encountering and walking with women.

About the speaker: Jenny Hunsberger is the Vice President of Women's Care Center where she oversees client care and public relations. She has been with Women's Care Center since her time as an undergrad at Notre Dame ('95). Since she started, Women's Care has become the largest pregnancy resource center in the nation, serving 30,000 women annually with 32 centers in 11 states. Hunsberger attributes this growth to a focused and humble commitment to meeting each woman with genuine compassion, concrete support and non-judgement. Hunsberger lives near Notre Dame with her husband and eight children.
