This year, the Fourth Sunday of Advent is also Christmas Eve. While many families are accustomed to celebrating Monday's Feast of the Nativity at a vigil Mass the evening before, the faithful should remember that these are two distinct Holy Days: the Fourth Sunday of Advent AND Christmas.
Therefore, two Masses are still required.
Sunday's Mass can be celebrated at the Saturday evening vigil or on Sunday morning Masses; these should include the Sunday readings for the Fourth Sunday of Advent. In the true spirit of Advent, Catholics must wait and anticipate a little bit longer before celebrating the coming of the Lord.
