As this calendar year comes to a close, I want to thank the 8,500 families who have given generously to this year’s Annual Catholic Appeal. Your support is a real blessing, helping us to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and to serve those in need.
For those of who are still considering a gift this year, the needs of our Church are still urgent. The Annual Catholic Appeal is $350,000 away from being fully funded, but I believe that, with your help, we can bridge the gap. The funding goes toward fulfilling our mission to equip and support our pastors and parish ministers, but it also provides critical leadership for Catholic schools; assists with a host of programs that feed the hungry, empower the vulnerable, and serve the elderly and spiritually absent. Your dollars also make sure that our seminarians receive critical education and formation, that our retired priests are never forgotten, and that our smallest or most struggling parishes can continue to serve the faithful.
Again, if you haven’t already made a commitment, then I humbly ask you to join the many who have, in supporting these critical works of the Church. Please consider making your gift today and helping us to fulfill our shared mission. Your gift to the Annual Catholic Appeal—whatever the size—makes a real difference. Because in the end, it’s only together, and with generous hearts, that we can live Christ’s mission. Thank you, and may God bless you and your loved ones abundantly this Christmas season.
