In honor of Mother Teresa, the United Nations declared September 5th as the International Day of Charity. Mother Teresa dedicated her life to helping those in the most need. Because of this, the students at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School participated in a food drive for the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.
Students brought in non-perishable items to help fill the empty shelves of the St. Vincent de Paul food bank. Typically, food drives are centered around the holidays and supplies become depleted going into the summer months. Therefore, the students at SEAS focused their efforts in honor of Mother Teresa ensuring those in their community would not go hungry.
