Discerning the will of God means being able to listen to one's own heart and recognize the Lord's presence in the unexpected events of life, Pope Francis said.
Addressing the Schonstatt Fathers, who were in Rome for their general chapter Sept. 1, the pope urged them to be "bearers of a message of hope in these dark situations that people in every stage of life are going through."
A new online study course titled "What We Believe: The Beauty of the Catholic Faith" was "created by a few very imperfect disciples who happen to be crazy about Christ and his church," said one of the authors and presenters of the course.
